Strategies for a Balanced Nervous System
You’re in a good place. With your nervous system in balance, you may notice extra energy for exercise, work, and relationships. This added capacity is a gift but stay mindful of how much you take on. The practices supporting you now will continue to help you maintain balance and build resilience.
Exercise
You have greater capacity to increase the intensity and volume of your workouts. You are generally at less risk of injury here but your warm up is still important.
Work
This is the time to take on more work, increase your output, increase the quality of your work, become more creative and embrace/take on more change and challeneges.
Relationships
Greater balance means you can support your family, friends and colleagues to a greater degree. This is a greater time to support others whilst your cup is full. Hopefully by filling other’s cup whilst yours is overflowing, other’s can reciprocate when you’re cup is not so full.
Sleep
If you were going to be naughty and stay up late. This is the time. I’ll allow it.
